Vesco Dewatering Pump Equipment

Vesco dewatering pump systems are comprised of four basic units which can be fitted into the bed of standard size pickup trucks, trucks with flatbeds, large commercial trucks and other types of equipment or they can be mounted stationary with their own power supply.

Each dewatering pump unit includes a steel framework upon which is mounted a hydraulically-driven hose reel assembly.  The hose assembly consists of either  2”, 2 1/2”, or 3” water hose which contains two hydraulic lines up to 225 ft in length.  The hoses are attached to a transition box on the reel which separates the hydraulic oil flow from the water discharge flow.  A properly sized hydraulically-driven submersible pump is attached to the other end of the hose assembly.  The basic unit equipment also includes a boom for positioning the submersible pump over the blast hole prior to lowering it.  The boom has five feet of hydraulic extension and four feet of manual extension.

Model 200 dewatering pump has a hydraulic cylinder for lateral movement as well.  The basic unit includes all hydraulic controls, oil reservoir and filter.  It requires a supply of hydraulic power to be operative.

Normally, the basic dewatering unit is installed behind the cab of a pick-up truck between the wheel wells and the front of the box.  They hydraulic power is derived from a hydraulic pump which is flange-mounted to a P.T.O which is driven by the truck transmission.

 

MODEL 100 DEWATERING PUMP

This is the standard unit designed for small to medium diameter blast holes.  It contains a single-hose reel which will accommodate up to 225 feet of 2” diameter hose assembly or 150 feet of 2 ½ “ hose assembly.  This model is normally installed on a ¾ ton truck.  The Model 100 may be equipped with a Model 260, 310, 310-2, 310-3 or a 530 pump.

A slightly larger version designed to fit in the box of a ¾ or 1-ton truck.  This model has an additional cylinder and control to provide lateral movement of the boom.  It may be equipped with the Model 530, 750, or the 750 HH pump and hose assemblies up to 200 feet long.
